Optimize Platform Infrastructure, Performance and Scalability

  • Magenta Gaming was Deutsche Telekom's (DT) first cloud gaming service
    – a competitive product to Google Stadia – that was released in 2020 in DT’s products/services portfolio.
  • Over the course of the following one and a half years, DT engaged us across several projects including platform infrastructure, platform performance, and platform scalability.
  • We were tasked with defining and implementing a sustainable strategy to monetize network assets, carrying out a financial analysis on total cost of ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI) with respect to platform scalability, conducting an end-to-end gap analysis of DT’s fixed-line network to identify optimization areas, implementing methods to optimize the fixed-line network to enable end-to-end low-latency services, determining infrastructure requirements, and build specific edge data center environments to enable high quality gaming experience.

Understand and evaluate network readiness for Metaverse

  • To enable a truly immersive and interconnected Metaverse, telcos must deliver the necessary network performance including massive bandwidth, high performance computing, and storage that is accessible at ultra-low latencies.
  • Together with DT we designed and implemented a Metaverse-ready end-to-end architecture including the edge infrastructure which is necessary to deliver the quality of experience (QoE) required by metaverse applications. To demonstrate the network readiness of the implemented architecture, we designed and created true-to-life digital twins using 3D simulation and collaboration tools such as NVIDIA Omniverse and Unreal Engine. Additionally, we enabled real-time remote rendering of ray-traced, physically accurate digital twins as well as real-time streaming to head-mounted-displays (HMD) in full fidelity to allow industrial customers to collaborate in digital and virtual environments in real-time.

Edge Computing Infrastructure

We design, implement and virtualize Ultra-Low-Latency (ULL) computing infrastructures that can enable latency sensitive applications such as Cloud Gaming, XR Streaming and Metaverse.

We utilize high-performance GPU servers from Intel and NVIDIA with our G3 GPU virtualization technology to deliver sustainable, scalable, ULL edge computing solutions.

a high-performance gaming infrastructure for Deutsche Telekom’s (DT’s) Magenta Gaming,
Europe’s first NVIDIA Omniverse certified Cloud-Edge infrastructure for DT’s Industrial Metaverse.

NVIDIA servers equipped with L40 GPUs to enable an Ultra Low Latency Computing Infrastructure for Industrial Metaverse.

Metaverse

We design and build true-to-life virtual environments that can enable interaction and collaboration. This is one of our core offerings and the most popular service among our customers.

We utilize leading 3D technologies such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Unreal Engine, Twin Motion etc. to create visually rich immersive environments that are rendered in real-time. We use physics-based modeling to mimic the real-world objects precisely.
